Compared with cylindrical gear reducer, planetary gear reducer has many unique advantages. Because planetary gear transmission has power diversion, coaxial transmission composed of central wheels and rational application of internal meshing gear pairs, its structure can be very compact. Because of the symmetry of the transmission structure of planetary gear, that is, it has several planetary wheels with symmetrical distribution, so that the reaction forces acting on the center wheel and the arm bearing can be balanced each other, which is conducive to improving the transmission efficiency. When the transmission type is selected properly and the structure is arranged reasonably, the efficiency value can reach 0.97~0.99.
