Difference between Reduction Motor and Frequency Converter

Reduction motor reduces the speed of motor (motor) by mechanical transmission device, and frequency converter achieves the purpose of motor (motor) speed regulation by changing AC frequency. When the speed of the decelerating motor is reduced by the frequency converter, the purpose of energy saving can be achieved. Reducer plays the role of matching speed and transferring torque between the prime mover and the working machine or actuator. Frequency converter is an electric power control device that converts power frequency power supply into another frequency by the on-off action of power semiconductor devices. The frequency converter is an electronic instrument, and the reducer can be regarded as a mechanical structure. There is a distinct difference, the same function of a small part, is to change the speed of the motor. But the principles and uses of the two are quite different.
